THE ADEPT

The ideal format for approaching essential oil distillation

Just like its little brother the Nano, the Adept is a relatively simple device to use. It was designed to approach essential oil distillation under the best possible conditions. In other words, it allows you to distill a sufficient volume of plant material to harvest an appreciable quantity of essential oil while remaining relatively compact and simple to use. Although it was initially designed for essential oil and hydrosol enthusiasts, it is equally suited to trainers, educators, and researchers in the field.

The Adept comes with a 250 mL glass essencier allowing you to observe the separation stage of the essential oil and hydrosol. It can be used with a small gas burner or a good heating plate (ideally infrared). It does not allow continuous cohobation like the Explorer and the list of available options is also more limited compared to the latter. We nevertheless offer a lid for distillation with agitation as well as any modification you might need for your experiments.
